The poll finds 75% of Americans approving of a white man dating a black woman, and 71% approving of a black man dating a white woman. The distinction between the race of the man and woman makes little difference for blacks and Hispanics, but appears to affect whites' approval of interracial dating to a small degree.Seventy-two percent of whites approve of a white man dating a black woman, while 65% of whites approve of a black man dating a white woman. This very individual and personal aspect can sometimes produce a lot of public discussion. However, many people soon saw Asian intermarriage with Whites as a threat to American society. had formal laws on their books that prohibited non-Whites from marrying Whites.
Perhaps the most promising trend is in the area of transracial adoption. Marco Rubio and others have asserted, anyone who is not black will "never fully understand the experience of being black in America," then perhaps part of the answer is for white people to understand what those experiences are by changing the ways they interact with black people, and vice versa.This report is primarily based on the Pew Research Center’s analysis of data from the U.
